Marzipan museum is a project that was conducted within a branding and brand values course. The brief that we received was to take and out of date Israeli museum and turn it into something different and new entirely from what it is as of today.
In our project we chose to take the Marzipan Museum to the children's world, but in a whole new concept, which integrates pastel colors that refers to ice cream but in addition to 3D designs and geometrical shapes, to create an innovative and refreshing sensation
(The project was conducted within a third-year course, in association with the designer Gal Oron).
After we developed a Logo according to the principles and values that we wanted to represent in our creation, we structured a graphic language to all the museum's elements, such as a guidance map for the different attractions in the museum, directions signs, a power wall, and integrated the infographics of the information and the new graphic language that we created.
Once we finished creating the museum's elements, we started constructing the souvenir shop, in a unique and specific design that resembles the museum's design, to make it seem like a sub company to the museum's company itself.
The souvenir shop's design is drawn from the museum's graphic language. We chose one leading color for the Logo and started simplifying it to make wrapping papers and other small products in relation.
